Pico 2 Channel GPIO Expander

With our Pico 2 Channel Expander, you can double your GPIO pins and attach two add-ons to one Raspberry Pi Pico.

The Pico 2 CH Expander is an I/O Expansion board for the Raspberry Pi Pico that allows it to extend its engagement through two dedicated GPIO ports for the HAT or Shield. Pico 2 CH Expander is specifically designed to act as a GPIO extender, with two sets of two x 20 pin headers for use with HATs or Breadboards.

The Pico 2 Channel Expander makes it easy to control all of the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi Pico. The Pico expander can aid users in prototyping their designs using the Raspberry Pi Pico. With the Pico 2 CH Expander, you can double the usage of your Raspberry Pi and make more efficient items.

Pico 2 Channel Expander

Having difficulty deciding which Pico add-on to get? The Pico expander allows you to connect two Pico Packs or Bases simultaneously*, or you can use the extra set of male GPIO pins to connect other devices, jumper wires, or circuitry - ideal for prototyping. All three sets of connectors have useful labels on them, so you can be sure that all those lovely wires are going to the right locations.

Our Pico-sized add-ons are called packs because they're designed to stick to the back of your Pico like a fashionable backpack (or a miniature jet pack, if you prefer). Pico bases (larger add-on boards with a place to install your Pico on top) and other boards that allow you to do interesting hackery things like using several packs at once are also available.

To connect to our add-on boards, your Pico must have male headers soldered to it (with the pins pointing downwards).

Things You Can Connect With Pico 2 Channel Expander

Showcasing the most exciting Raspberry Pi Pico Breakout and a useful HAT that you must try with Pico 2 Channel Expander.

Pico Breakout Air Monitoring

The Air Monitoring Breakout is a portable open-source breakout that measures the amount and mass of suspended particulates. The PMSA003 sensor in the Air Monitoring breakout provides information on suspended particulate matter (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10) in the air per unit volume via digital output with a 3.3 V operating voltage. It communicates with the sensor's standby current of 200 microampere (A) via UART (serial).

Pico Breakout Differential Pressure

It includes NXP's MPXV5010DP, which is a signal-conditioned, temperature-compensated, and calibrated integrated silicon pressure sensor on-chip. Two axial ports on the Differential Pressure Breakout fit industrial quality tubing. The sensor's overall error rate is 5.0 percent in the temperature range of 0 to 85oC.

P1 and P2 are two pressure ports, with P1 acting as a pressure side and P2 acting as a vacuum side. The measurement range of the Differential Pressure Breakout is 0 to 10kPa. The Differential Pressure Breakout operates on positive differential pressure since the Pressure Side(P1) is greater than the Vacuum Side(P2). Before being output via the SPI interface, the signal passes through the onboard 22-bit ADC.

Pico Breakout RFID Board

RFID Breakout Board features an improved UART/USB 2.0 interface with a lightweight design that is compatible with all Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32, PIC, AVR, Beaglebone, and other variants. It enables the user to read the ID data stored on RFID key fobs and tags. Every RFID tag/key fob has a distinct identity that cannot be duplicated.

The RFID breakout's operating voltage ranges from +4.5V to +5.5V. (DC). The current consumption for RFID breakout is 50mA. It operates at a temperature range of 0°C to 80°C. It has a 9600 bps bitrate. The RFID tag's reading distance ranges from 0 to 5 cm, depending on the tag. The gadget is perfect because it has an integrated antenna.
