Edge Control is a remote monitoring and control program designed with outdoor settings in mind. The Arduino Edge Control may be installed anywhere and is appropriate for remote intelligent control applications such as smart agriculture, precision farming, and other uses. Either a solar panel or a DC input can provide power.
Utilize the Arduino Cloud (or other third-party services) to remotely operate your application. You may choose the communication method that is most appropriate for the environment. The built-in Bluetooth on the Arduino Edge Control may be upgraded to 2G/3G/CatM1/NB-IoT modems, LoRa®, Sigfox, and WiFi by using any of the MKR boards.
The Arduino Edge Control can drive actuators like latching valves and connect sensors (common in agriculture). Additionally, it has the capacity to offer real-time monitoring over the whole process, hence lowering risks associated with manufacturing.
The sensors are especially well suited for smart agriculture since they can gather real-time data on things like weather, soil quality, crop development, and more.
